At EvenBalance, we are committed to providing high-quality professional styling services. We understand that circumstances may arise that necessitate cancellations or refunds. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions regarding refunds for our services.
Please read this policy carefully. By purchasing our services, you agree to the terms of this Refund Policy.
1. General Refund Principles
Our refund policy is based on the following principles:
- Transparency: We aim to be clear about when refunds are and are not available.
- Fairness: We balance the interests of our clients with the time and resources our stylists commit to each booking.
- Quality: We stand behind the quality of our services and will work with you to resolve any concerns.
2. Refund Eligibility by Service Type
Different services have different refund policies based on their nature and the resources allocated:

Style Subscription Program |
Prorated refund for unused full months if cancelled midway through subscription period. |
3. Cancellation Timeframes and Refund Amounts
3.1 Standard Cancellation Policy
For most individual styling services, our cancellation policy is as follows:

3.2 Deposits
For services requiring a deposit:
- Deposits are generally non-refundable as they secure your booking and our stylist's time.
- If you cancel within the eligible refund period, the deposit may be applied to a future booking within 3 months of the original date.
3.3 Package Services
For service packages (e.g., Style Starter, Complete Style Refresh):
- If you cancel before any services in the package have been delivered, the above timeframes apply to the first scheduled service.
- If partial services have been delivered, refunds will be calculated based on the retail value of the remaining services, minus applicable fees.
4. Rescheduling
We understand that schedules can change. As an alternative to cancellation, we offer rescheduling options:
- Rescheduling with more than 48 hours' notice: No fee
- Rescheduling with 24-48 hours' notice: 25% rescheduling fee
- Rescheduling with less than 24 hours' notice: 50% rescheduling fee
Appointments may be rescheduled once without penalty (subject to the notice periods above). Additional rescheduling requests may incur fees.
5. Service Quality Guarantee
5.1 Our Commitment to Quality
We are committed to providing high-quality professional styling services. If you are not satisfied with the service you received, please notify us within 7 days of your appointment.
5.2 Resolution Process
If you are dissatisfied with your service:
- Contact us within 7 days of service delivery, detailing your concerns.
- We will review your feedback and may request additional information.
- We will offer one of the following resolutions:
- A follow-up appointment to address specific concerns
- A partial refund based on the nature of the concern
- A full refund in cases where we failed to deliver the service as described
5.3 Limitations
Our service quality guarantee does not cover:
- Subjective aspects of styling that were clearly communicated during the service
- Issues arising from client's failure to follow stylist recommendations
- Services where the client substantially changed the scope or requirements during the appointment
6. Refunds for EvenBalance Cancellations
In the rare event that EvenBalance needs to cancel your appointment due to stylist illness, emergency, or other unforeseen circumstances:
- We will provide as much notice as possible.
- You will be offered the option of rescheduling with the same stylist or an alternative stylist if available.
- If rescheduling is not possible or desirable, a full refund will be processed.
- For significant disruptions to service (e.g., stylist arriving very late), partial refunds may be offered based on the specific circumstances.
7. Gift Certificates and Prepaid Services
7.1 Gift Certificates
Gift certificates are:
- Non-refundable once purchased
- Valid for 12 months from the date of purchase
- Transferable to another person
- Not redeemable for cash
7.2 Prepaid Service Packages
For prepaid service packages:
- Unused services may be refunded within 30 days of purchase, minus a 20% administration fee
- After 30 days, unused services are non-refundable but remain available for use according to their validity period
- Services must be used within 12 months of purchase unless otherwise specified
8. Refund Processing
8.1 Refund Method
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method when possible:
- Credit/debit card payments will be refunded to the same card
- Bank transfers will be refunded via bank transfer to the originating account
- PayPal payments will be refunded to the PayPal account
8.2 Refund Timing
Once approved:
- Refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
- Credit/debit card refunds may take an additional 3-10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer
9. Exceptions and Special Circumstances
We recognize that exceptional circumstances can arise. In cases of:
- Illness or Emergency: With documentation, we may offer more flexible cancellation terms
- Extreme Weather or Transport Disruptions: Cancellations due to severe weather or major transport disruptions may qualify for rescheduling without penalty
- Bereavement: Please contact us, and we will handle your situation with compassion
Each case will be reviewed individually, and decisions will be at the discretion of EvenBalance management.
10. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services following the posting of changes constitutes your acceptance of such changes.
